Adore Me acquired Prestige Cosmetics in 2018. Established in the early 1980s, Prestige is an internationally popular brand, particularly in Italy. I was tasked with rebranding and completely overhauling its visual identity, including updating all packaging. The project was executed within a two-week sprint format to accommodate upcoming launches and the bandwidth of our website developers, requiring swift yet strategic decision-making.
The creative brief outlined the following key objectives:
Appeal to the American audience with a focus on a younger demographic, ages 15-35.
Prepare for product expansion, including a sustainable skincare line.
Ensure the brand stands out on shelves in stores like Target and CVS.
Modernize the logo with minor tweaks rather than a complete overhaul.
Use a soft, subtle color palette that feels colorful and vibrant without being overly bold.
The overall goal was to develop a clean, simplistic brand identity that would resonate with the target audience while maintaining flexibility for future growth.
For the launch of the sustainable skincare and makeup line, I designed all the packaging and worked closely with vendors to ensure compliance with guidelines and requirements. The visuals were crafted to be sleek and elevated, enhancing the line's premium appeal on the shelves of Target and CVS. A refreshing minty green was introduced to complement the brand's soft color palette, giving the collection a distinct and cohesive identity. The combination of simplicity, vibrancy, and premium design aligned perfectly with the rebrand's aesthetic and the brand's broader ambitions.
